KIUT’s football team is determined to perform at their best and clinch the championship in the ongoing Higher Education and Samia Cup competitions, currently taking place at the JK Youth Park in Dar es Salaam.
The team made a strong start, securing a 2-0 victory over IFM in their opening match last week.
KIUT will face MUHAS in their second match of the tournament on April 19, 2025, at the same venue.
In an exclusive interview with The Respondent Online, KIUT’s Head Coach, Erius Marius, shared that the team is focused on maintaining their strong performance and ensuring positive results in every match.
“We’ve come back to refine the areas where we encountered challenges in our previous game, even though we won and earned the three points,” Marius said.
“Our primary goal in every match is to score goals and secure three points. We managed to score two in the first match, but we’re now focused on achieving our targets in the upcoming games, including the one against MUHAS,” Marius explained.
He also expressed his appreciation for the college management’s unwavering support in helping the players prepare thoroughly for the competition.
