In line with the desire  to support the Government’s undertaking in improving medicinal services in the nation, the University structured and presented a program that contributes the training of human services experts in Medical Laboratory Sciences, which is simply an art and a science of investigation and diagnosis. Graduates in this field become fundamental “healthcare detectives”, revealing and giving laboratory information from lab investigations that help physicians in patient diagnosis and treatment, just as in malady checking or prevention (upkeep of wellbeing). We use advanced biomedical instrumentation and innovation, computers and strategies requiring manual aptitude to perform laboratory testing on blood and body liquids.

The program received approval and accreditation by the National Council for Technical Education (NACTE) through the National Technical Awards (NTA) system, which is a mandatory requirement for technical training programs. This programme is geared towards producing innovative, creative and flexible laboratory personnel who will cope with the dynamic changes of the profession, technology and socio-economic needs.
