The KIUT Consultancy Bureau is the consultancy arm of Kampala International University in Tanzania aimed at   assisting stakeholders from all sectors through the mobilization, deployment and coordination of resources to gather, analyse and use the acquired information to provide expert advice and recommendations.

UCB understands and acknowledges the challenges facing businesses, institutions, government agencies, individuals, communities and the nation at large. As a result, the Bureau views  it as  prudent to use its vast wealth of knowledge (research) and experts (human resource) in diverse fields to tackle these challenges to promote the socio-economic wellbeing of the nation for apart from imparting education and training to students, research is also done to understand and find solutions to well defined problems . The experts or human resource are extracted from the University’s highly experienced internal academic staff.

To ensure the consultancy bureau conducts its activities in a manner that brings positive impacts to its community, while upholding good governance and a clean image, the institution has drawn up a consultancy policy for public digest to help guide its implementation and general management. Furthermore, apart from the consultancy bureau being a revenue stream for the  University, it aims to further improve its internal work-force skills and increase research excellence acceleration.

UCB’s Objectives

  1. To supplement the University Strategic Plan in seeking after the Vision and Mission and empowering the University to remain as a chief instructing, research and consultancy foundation in the nation and beyond
  2. Support and build up the University’s connections with industry, trade and the more extensive network through top notch consultancy exercises which thusly upgrade staff ability uncover new research openings that can profit the KIUT instructing programs
  3. Enable KIUT to manage its external links and so ensure appropriate returns to both employees
  4. Safeguard and promote the University’s reputation, including its brand and university property rights.
  5. Act as a revenue stream to further invest in knowledge for the continued socio-economic benefit of the country
  6. To further improve the skills and knowledge of our internal staff and attract great expertise through collaboration and partnerships to expand our horizons
