Chairperson

Salum Saidy, elected in July 2025, leads TAPSA-KIUT with a commitment to advancing pharmaceutical education and fostering collaboration. Under his leadership, the association drives academic excellence and community engagement.

About TAPSA-KIUT

The Tanzania Pharmaceutical Students Association KIUT Chapter (TAPSA-KIUT), launched in 2016, is a recognized arm of TAPSA Tanzania, dedicated to enriching the learning experience of pharmacy students at Kampala International University in Tanzania.

With over 500 active members, TAPSA-KIUT fosters pharmaceutical knowledge and equips students with skills for effective interaction with patients, healthcare professionals, and the community, through academic exchange and professional collaboration.

Operating under the Dean of Students and guided by a written constitution, TAPSA-KIUT hosts monthly meetings, academic competitions, health outreach programs, and leadership trainings.

To create a dynamic community of pharmacy students excelling in academic, professional, and community service endeavors, contributing to healthcare advancements.

To enhance pharmaceutical knowledge, promote professional skills, and foster collaboration through academic competitions, health outreach, and leadership development.
