The Marketing and Public Relations Directorate is the communications arm of Kampala International University in Tanzania (KIUT) with the sole purpose of opening the university and the environment it operates in to the world through academic excellence, collaboration, outreach, innovation, appreciation, adaptation, efficiency and internationalization.
The team accomplishes this by ensuring information communicated to our audiences, both internal and external, reflects the university’s service delivery chain and its support service activities that are of excellent and consistent quality, while leaving room for continuous improvement to keep pace with the changing environmental landscapes.
We believe Marketing and Public Relations are ineffective in isolation and thus, the team nurtures an organizational culture and work practice of collaboration and engagement, with the immense utilization of information communication technologies (ICT) to ensure minimal discrepancies and maximum reach to our target audiences through our communication strategies.
In the long-term, we aspire to complement the University’s vision of being “a premier institution of international repute that prepares students for an inclusive world” through internationalization by bringing aspects of marketing and public relations communications together to effectively position the university in a consistent and coordinated manner.
