Kampala International University in Tanzania (KIUT) is set to host the opening matches of the Dar es Salaam Regional Volleyball Association (DAREVA) League 2025 this Saturday, March 15that KIUT Sports Grounds. The tournament, which brings together top volleyball teams from across the region, will kick off at 8:00 AM, with both the KIUT Men’s and Women’s Volleyball Teams taking center stage.With months of preparation behind them, both teams are ready to compete by taking advantage of home ground.
Twaha Akilimoja, captain of the KIUT Men’s Volleyball Team, expressed confidence in his squad’s readiness.“We are well prepared, physically and mentally. Having a good pre-season has sharpened our skills, and we will face our competition head-on,” Akilimoja stated.
