On March 14th, 2025, the Faculty of Education and Legal Studies at Kampala International University in Tanzania (KIUT) through the department of Education hosted a curriculum review meeting at the KIUT boardroom. Key stakeholders, including lecturers, doctors, and professors from other institutions such as Mwalimu Nyerere Memorial Academy, the University of Dar es Salaam, Tumaini University, and other academic experts attended.
Dr. Thadei T. Mwereke, head of the Education department at KIUT, opened the session by welcoming the attendees before inviting Prof. Angwara Kiwara, the Vice Chancellor of KIUT, to address stakeholders.
In his address, Prof. Kiwaraacknowledged the significance of the meeting and emphasized the importance of collaboration in ensuring higher educational services remain relevant and translates to solutions for the community. He added that in the global community, our institutions must equip students to be competitive scholars capable of addressing global challenges.
