Public Administration prepares students to pursue careers working around and implementing public policies in various areas. That is to state, the career trains graduates to analyse information, oversee expenses, draft and implement government and public policy, manage resources and people, conduct safety inspections, investigate suspected unethical activities, serve as consultants and in general or more importantly, act as stewards of the public interest.
Furthermore, Public Administration deals with critical matters such as assisting organizations, including the private sector to meet the continuous changing needs of the general population while at the same time attempting to avoid tax increases, implementing information technologies that better connect citizens and their governmental representatives, and improving responses to natural disasters. This is so because during different academic levels, students are taught financial management, human services, policies and maintenance of organizations that serve the public, including leadership skills that helps a student increase public service and organizations that were put into place to assist society to live normal and healthy lifestyles.
