About Programme

Aim of the course

To impart to the trainee the skills needed to manage, monitor, and evaluate development projects.

Course competence-based objectives.

After completion of this course, the trainee will be able to

  1. Demonstrate project management, accountability, teamwork, and change management concepts and theories while working on development-related projects.
  2. Demonstrate various steps which are critical for project design in development care.
  3. Design a monitoring system as part of the project design.
  4. Design an evaluation plan for a project.
  5. Analyze the most critical issues for project management.

 

Who should attend?

Program/project coordinators, program/project administrators, monitoring and evaluation officers and any other interested personnel.

Certification

Upon successful completion of this course, participants will be issued a certificate awarded by KIUT.

Target group

The program targets executives, managers and individuals working in development programs such as health, agriculture, and education, and any individual interested in project management, monitoring, and evaluation.

Mode of delivery

The mode of delivery will be a combination of both online and face-to-face modes. However, Online mode will dominate.

Fee Structure

Course fee

KIUT staff will be required to pay TZS 350,000  and TZS 450,000 for non-KIUT and USD 300.00 for foreigners for the six-week program. The fee can be paid for three installments (at the beginning, midway and third quarter of the course).
