The principal academic body, ensuring the highest standards in education and research at KIUT.
About the Council
The Council has 17 highly experienced members constituted and appointed by the Board of Trustees. The Council's main functions are to monitor, regulate, review, oversee and promote the operations, management and quality of the University to ensure efficient delivery. This is to be done in line with the laws of Tanzania and quality control guidelines of the Tanzania and East African Commissions of Universities.
