About Our Counseling Unit

Established in 2010, KIUT’s Counseling and Guidance Department is committed to helping students overcome academic, emotional, and social challenges. Our services are free, confidential, and accessible to all undergraduate, postgraduate, international students, and staff.

Led by Ms. Mary Peter Kalunga, a qualified counselor with a Bachelor’s degree in Counseling Psychology, our unit offers tailored support with no limits on session duration or frequency. We provide referrals to internal departments or external clinics when needed, ensuring comprehensive care.
