Mode of Payments
Kampala International University in Tanzania (KIUT) provides flexible and convenient payment options to make fee settlement easier for students and parents. Below are the approved methods of payment:
1. Direct Bank Payments
Students and sponsors may deposit all fees directly into the University's official bank accounts at CRDB Bank, KCB Bank, or UBA Bank, or through agency banking services such as CRDB Bank Plc's Fahari Huduma.
After making a deposit, please submit the original Bank Deposit Slip to the University Accounts Office as proof of payment.
Note: When completing the bank deposit slip, either manually or through an agent, ensure that the student's full name and registration number are clearly indicated. This helps our Accounts Department to process and reconcile payments promptly.
2. Mobile Payments
Payments can also be made through mobile money services linked to the University's bank accounts, including M-Pesa, Mixx by Yas, Airtel Money, T-Pesa, and Halo-Pesa.
Alternatively, payments may be made directly via Sim-Banking services offered by respective banks.
Please retain the payment confirmation message or receipt as it will serve as proof of payment at the University Accounts Office.
Important Notes:
- For payments made through telecom mobile money services (e.g., M-Pesa, Mixx by Yas, Airtel Money, T-Pesa, Halo-Pesa), ensure the transaction is made using a phone number registered in the student's name to facilitate verification.
- For Sim-Banking transactions, please ensure the student's full name appears in the transaction description before completing payment and keep the receipt safely for verification purposes.
