Overview
The Department of Community Medicine and Public Health at Kampala International University in Tanzania (KIUT), Dar es Salaam campus, offers an in-depth curriculum that covers a broad spectrum of public health issues, including epidemiology, environmental health, health systems management, maternal and child health, nutrition, and social determinants of health. The programme emphasizes fieldwork, internships, and service-learning opportunities to expose students to real-world public health practices, preparing them to address public health challenges in urban, rural, and underserved communities.
