Unity is best built through shared experiences and memories, a spirit that came alive when the Standing Committee on Social Affairs (SCOSA) of TAMSA-KIUT, in collaboration with ROTARACT KIUT and the CADABRA Jogging Club of the School of Biomedical Sciences (BMS), organized the Umoja Games at the KIUT Grounds on the 15th August 2026. The games were conceived to promote social interaction and unity among students, encourage physical fitness, healthy living, and foster collaboration between TAMSA-KIUT, ROTARACT KIUT, and other student groups on campus.

Participants took part in a wide range of activities, not limited to jogging, sack races, spoon races, tug of war, colour games, balloon games, spine races, and eating competitions, alongside a football match between students of the School of Biomedical Sciences (BMS) and the School of Public Health (BPH). The day drew students from across KIUT's academic programs into a shared, inclusive environment, and was publicized through WhatsApp groups, promotional content, and direct word-of-mouth communication among students.

The event strengthened cooperation between SCOSA, TAMSA, ROTARACT KIUT, and other student organizations, and created a valuable opportunity for students from different academic programs to interact outside the classroom.
